Dreamworks is adapting the bestselling novel The Help for the big screen. The book, by Kathryn Stockett, is about black maids working in white households in the 1960's.
Tate Taylor wrote the script and is directing. Shooting starts at the end of July in Greenwood, Mississippi.
Jessica Chastain recently signed on to play Celia Foote, an insecure Southern woman trying to fit into high society.
